Helping Starbucks Build its first meaningful water brand

Ethos water was founded to help children in third world countries get clean water and women to get an education. Ethos needed to compete against premium water brands without creating a perception of being a “charity” water as Starbucks first entry into the water category.

We began with a simple idea: “Lets create a bottled water and help children around the world get clean water.”

While at IDEO, we created an iconic award winning brand and package design that communicates purity and functionality while supporting the brands core cause, helping children, our most important resource of all.
